I just rewrite the whole beginning of this document. I agree, it was written badly - I realized this after reading your comments & re-reading the doc.

Not sure how it happened - I guess I edited the beginning a few times in a rush and turned it into a mess without even noticing this.

Hopefully it's more clear now. Thanks a lot for notifying me about that.
